If you really want to see Mary, you should just die. But you might be heading to a different place than Mary, James.

The Thing is one of Shinji's favorite movies, so that's no surprise ^^.

haven't seen the new Thing, but you can't beat the remake with Kurt Russel, its realist, that what makes it soo sick and frightening. Guessing these muts were guard dogs.

Agreed, the Carpenter one is my favorite film next to Eraserhead. We're in trouble if we encounter more dogs like this- the dogs were always one of the scariest enemies in the RE games for me.

I noticed that too. Carpenter's The Thing is one of my favorite horror films, up there with the original Alien. I'm glad to see some of that art design show up in this game. The new Thing was ok, but the CGI totally lacked the creepiness from the animatronics used in the original.

why I haven't watched the new Thing, I like the gore that you know is there (made for the move) not computer generated. But TEW does stuff to the enemies that looks like if something like that happens.. it could be real, I know there is that massive spider thing, but most of the enemies are all humanoide

I don't know what it is but I HATE dogs in this kind of games. I could face any enemy in RE, but not the dogs, they scare me the most. And now they have dogs in this game, well this could be fun, NOT :)

The dog seems to be a large yet fast charging enemy, I could see it be panic-inducing in larger levels.

I will admit to being curious how animal enemies are going to fit into the plot.
