I got in late last night, had to run a few unexpeted errands after work, but I was able to play for maybe an hour. I took my time checking things out in the Torrens and once I got on Sevastopol, I wanted to see every nook and cranny before moving on. It's a beautiful game.
Once you get on Sevastopol, you sense the change in mood. I felt safe and almost cozy on the Torrens but then I felt a weight on my shoulders as soon as I walked into that first dark corridor from the decompression chamber on Sevastopol. It's a feeling of dread. I know the Alien isn't going to show up this early in the game, but I'm still terrified of turning a corner and seeing it in the distance. The sound work in this game is phenominal. I always compare sound quality in games to Thief: The Dark Project because sound was so important in that game and it was done perfectly (for the time), but Isolation completely blows it out of the water. The clinks and scratches I heard overhead in the vents and the bumps and cracks echoing through the halls made me very uneasy. I can't wait to spend more time with it this evening. I've been waiting for a game like this for years.

I noticed something weird also. In the brightness screen in the options menu, it says to change the brightness until the logo in the background is barely visible. I set it to its brightest setting but still didn't see a logo. Is that a bug or just something specific to the 360 version?

@Morir es vivir "it feels like the game is gonna be a looooong one."

From the Gamereactor reviewer, it took him 18 hrs to complete Normal Diff with alittle exploring, for me it will
prob take 23 hrs couse of hard difficulty and a lot of exploring. :D so yea its a looong game :P

I changed the settings on my TV too. Maxed out its brightness and still nothing.
