Thanks Rikitatsu, I was just going to say that actually. It's just DLC guys, you don't have to buy it. Hell, if I had a dime for every time I actually redeemed the DLC or the preorder bonus or whatever that came from the collectors editions bundles I've bought, I wouldn't be able to afford the clothes on my back :D. Dlcs rarely interest me.
If you really want to see Mary, you should just die. But you might be heading to a different place than Mary, James.

Mikami: "I’m still focusing on the first story, so I don’t know what’s going to happen yet, to be honest."

Exactly, he stated that he didn't know yet in that interview. He didn't overtly deny it.

Was Bethesda the guys responsible for one of the earliest pieces of dlc being the horse armour for oblivion?

Thanks for this. If we take Mikami's words at face value, then the DLC wasn't in development as of July 2014. It's hard to believe they cut it out from the game when it's still at early stages of development.

True, he never said they weren't making DLC, but he said they weren't sure if they were. The interview, posted below, was only released a month ago. At the time he said he wasn't concerned with any DLC plans. That either means that at the time of that interview he knew there was going to be a seasons pass, or they just now decided to create all this DLC.

True...that's why I said some PlatinumGames still ship without DLC/Pre-order bonuses (Particularly the Hideki Kamyia directed games). Those games you mentioned...I feel as if PlatinumGames included them as more of an experiment than to purposely milk the gamer, as some of the Metal Gear Rising DLCs were eventually made free to download. Not that I'm defending them...I tend to stay away from DLC in general, even PlatinumGames'. Though now I wonder who makes the call to include DLC/Pre-order bonuses...the publisher of the game or the game developer?

Or they cut the content from the game and they're releasing it as DLC thanks to Bethesda.

I'm glad you two agree. That was a choice Bethesda probably "insisted" upon. At that time of the interview with Shinji, The Keeper game mode and Julie's campaign were probably in the game. After that interview, Bethesda probably made Tango remove all that content and make it DLC.
