Returning characters? Gameplay? Developer interviews? No? None of that? Just keep pushing this asshole as iconography, I guess.

:| The marketing for this game is a fucking train wreck. I hope someone gets fired for this, even if the game somehow ends up selling well regardless.

I like them. I've seen art similar to this and this could genuinely be something put up for exhibition.
Of Course, he doesn't look like the other artists who makes this sort of art, but par for cause.

Stefano is probably 100% the main villain of this game because a lot of articles trailers etc focused more about him over the Priest guy.

They're just focusing on him because they don't want to spoil the rest. They already confirmed he's not the only villain.

I understand not wanting to spoil too much from a horror game, but yeah, the marketing so far has been pretty limb. The trailers are not exciting, the social media drip feed is annoying, plus the lack of previews/hands on from the press... Hell, Wolfenstein 2 comes out after TEW2 and it already has lenghty gameplay videos and hands-on previews.

Gamescom and Quakecon are coming soon though, so hopefully we'll see something worthwhile.

Also, Stefano looks awesome.

I think it's pretty obvious they're doing the less is more thing, since they announced the game only about four months before release they don't need to show too much to keep it in the public consciousness. I prefer it since it keeps most of the game a surprise, but it will make the wait a bit more quiet. Though I much prefer this method compared to the original game's, which people may not recall but it was months after it was announced before we got any proper gameplay, then months after that for a proper trailer, and it was around a year and a half after announced before it finally came out. Add to that the game was kind of leaked in parts a year or so before it was even announced.

I figure they want to keep it a surprise and then let word of mouth travel, though I'm also sure they'll show more before release but likely won't in advance so people can resist looking at what they do reveal down the line anyways, in a, "well, the game is out shortly," stance anyways.
