This is the best bit from the interview:
Probably two of the biggest inspirations were Chapter 5 and 9. Chapter 9 had you uncover past stories by solving puzzles and exploring and there is a lot of that in the DLC. Overall, Juli’s adventure is rather story driven — Juli tends to “discover” these things by her actions and by solving puzzles. But at the same time, the atmosphere and progression is similar to Chapter 5, where you were trapped in a very oppressive area and the “horror” element was at its strongest.

Ch.9 had the best structure, Ch.5 had the most oppressive atmosphere. This is sounding like a great DLC.

Buh, oppressive atmosphere better in CAP 10.

Cap5 is a "Light" Silent Hill.

I love chapter 5, but I thought 7 and 14 were the scariest for me. Those AlterEgos, and those gun wielding Haunted scare the bejesus out of me each time!

Möbius huh? I love that name of that secret organization- and interesting to note that it was one of the game's working titles. That's an interesting name for a secret organization.

Also, a little birdie told me we can expect more from director John Johanas, but that's after the DLC ;). I'm stoked either way, what's to be expected from me?

I'm going to say it'll come out after Revelations 2 hits, but we'll see, heh.

I'd say both are up there as the most oppressive.
Ch.10 is oppressive because of all the hazards and claustrophobic level design. While Ch.5's oppressiveness comes from being unsettling and creepy.

That sounds spot on, I'd say.

Well, at least it's coming out. I don't care how long we have to wait as long as it's good and has some replayability. The reference of chapter 9 is promising too... Though "story driven" dlc could just mean it'll be cut scene heavy.

I wonder what weapons she will have?

This made my day yesterday, although I didn't have a chance to respond. I'm excited at the prospect of learning more about Mobius, as well as Juli's mission.

Interestingly, I think the art book already mentioned that the government agency in the game is called Möbius, but I'd have to check to be sure. As for Chapter 5 and Chapter 9 being the inspiration behind The Assignment, I'm cool with that (even though Chapter 9 still scares the crap out of me)
