For the first time ever, Bethesda is going to present it's own conference at E3 this year, there is a chance The Evil Within's DLCs will be shown, or maybe a teaser for Tango's next project. E3 2015 will take place on the 16th of June.

Normally, you wouldn't set up an entire conference for one game. There will be other Bethesda games.
DOOM is pretty much guaranteed to appear, BattleCry too...And maybe Dishonored 2 or whatever Arkane is working on.

Hmmm, John Johanas also retweeted this news- which makes me think something Tango related will be going down ;).

June? I'd have hoped all the dlc will be out by then, and maybe a sequel announcement or something.

Jocifer, I'm pretty sure John would retweet this just from his connection to Bethesda. Until I hear about how Shinji feels about making a sequel, idk. I'm not holding out hope. It hurts too much to hold out hope. I'm looking at you, Beyond Good & Evil.

I was actually told by a pretty solid source that we can expect TEW to become a franchise actually! So we'll see what happens. He would'nt elaborate further, though.

Still stoked about the DLC too!

Come and think of it, Bethesda never commented on TEW's sales, did they? They didn't seem enthusiastic about Wolfensteins' sales and that did pretty good in the charts, but at least they commented that "it did well" or something along the lines.

But TEW? Nothing from what I can see. I'll try to probe Pete Hines about it.
Maybe they are fine with how it performed commercially, but critically? It was kinda mixed. 75/100 at Metacritic is not exactly encouraging given the talent behind the game, so I won't be surprised if they don't greenlight a sequel based that alone.

After all, I heard horror stories of studios not getting payed bonuses by their publishers because their games didn't exceed 80/100 at Metacritic... As much as I hate to admit it, Metacritic is a big deal in this industry.

I was thinking along those lines too, Rikitatsu. I'd be pretty on the fence if I was Bethesda. Granted, it's a niche genre, but still. 75/100 is pretty bad (7 is an average game (what 5 should be), we all know this, it's how it's always been in the video game industry) by all standards. Even if I disagree in a big way
