Not sure how legit this is but it seems like the OST is on sale. The track list outlines the entire game from beginning to end and so heavily spoilers the entire game's structure. Possibly a third main antagonist's name is revealed for example.

The Evil Within 2 Opening (well most of it, it seems to skip the very beginning, I'm guessing the burning house incident): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PemG8tQhaAk

I've decided to post my early game impressions over here. I apologize if it isn't the right place, but I only got exciting things to say about it and I'm not going to talk about the story at all, so there are no spoilers here.

I was able to get the game today because it got leaked in the Middle East, as some of you might have heard already.

So far I've put four hours into it and I'm still on chapter 3. There's just so much side activity in the early hours, and it encourages exploration to an extent that I never could have anticipated; this feels like a different brand of survival horror altogether, and i'm beginning to understand why Mikami said it was closer to RE1 than RE4. That's because I get the strong vibe that it's no longer about putting the player in tight corners against a dozen haunted enemies at once. Instead, it's more about being caught off-guard by a haunted or two while you're quietly exploring a room (although it's important to note that there might be a lot of crazy action sequences going forward, this is just the impression that i'm getting so far).

This might not be a bad thing because I've had such a rough time with the Nightmare difficulty so far. In fact, I'm pretty sure I haven't yet managed to kill three enemies in succession.
In one instance, a new haunted enemy type killed me by itself around 8 times in a row, I'm not even exaggerating. I completed the first game on Nightmare but there's a big difference in how the action is handled here, and I'm still trying to get used to it, I guess.

I've encountered two mini puzzles that were extremely reminiscent of early RE games, it was almost like an homage, and i thought it was pretty cool.

Another thing worth mentioning is how I've occasionally decided to approach interesting areas that had nothing to do with the main or side missions, and as a result was rewarded for my curiosity. I found upgrades and a random flashback memory.

One thing that concerns me is how I've missed around 90% of my overall shots with the handgun. I don't remember sucking so much, ever, and I sincerely hope that it's just me and not some drawback with the combat this time around.

Also, for anyone that cares, you can now shoot while crouching, yay.

Edit: just remembered that I came away impressed with the upgrade system. There's an upgrade that increases Seb's speed slightly while he's crouching, it's almost essential I'd say.

Not exactly news but someone has found a giant crow! I think it's near the second safe house, chapter 3.
