The Evil Within does not offer much?

All the greatest survival horror games have not used this. So to me that ALONE is a major selling point. REmake, Resident Evil 2, RE4, Dead Space (first one), Silent Hill, etc. No stealth.

Stealth is a major factor in adding realism.

What I'm interested to know is how the Stealth will play out... Will it be mainly used for Sneaking Past enemies or Hiding? Or just using stealth to Stealth-Kill the enemies and clear the area? (Like TLoU). I hope its the former.

People like to say this game is a RE4 v2. But I'm not sure how can they be oblivious to the Stealth element in the game, and how its clearly one of the gameplay's main pillars... It literally took 80% of the demonstration at EuroGamer.

Welcome aboard, by the way.

Thanks, glad to have come across this site :)

Yes I'd prefer the former too. The part from the gameplay video when he hides in the locker is something I've always wanted to do in an RE. Certainly something I'd do in real life if I was in that situation lol

This definitely isnt RE4 v2, or anywhere close.

Seems a bit early to judge unannounced modes or the lack thereof.

Yeah, I read it. Just wouldn't worry yet. Granted his most recent games didn't have a ton of extras, however his survival horror entires always have. I'd be surprised if this was any different. Either way the replay value will be there.
