For a game that wasn't publicly shown at E3, those feats are quite impressive. Keep up the good work Tango!

I hope that the game ends up as good as they say and not for marketing and selling millions of copies and disappointing gameplayers.

I'm not worried at all. Shinji is a great director. He's keeping a very close eye on the development of The Evil Within. He and Bethesda wouldn't release it unless it's something great.

Oh, I bet you a lot of people will be disappointed. Because some has unrealistic expectations.
They want a classic survival horror game straight out of the 32-bit era. Those will be really let down, and they gotta temper their expectations.

The Evil Within is a modern horror game, with a lot of streamlined mechanics...There will be classic touches, but ultimately this is a game created for today's market.

As to whether this will be a good game or not, Mikami never disappointed me, even with PN03, so I don't think he can make this a bad game if he tried.

Now then, Telegraph chose this game as one of the best games at E3

The Evil Within
Survival horror is back in a big way, with Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami presenting The Evil Within. You play Sebastian, a cop called to a mental hospital to find patients and orderlies murdered. The world isn't as it seems, of course, and soon Seb finds himself up against gruesome monsters. Tense and terrifying, The Evil Within looks to revitalise a horror genre that has leaned too far towards action in recent years.

I agree with this it will not be a fully ps1 era survival horror, however from what I have seen I get more of a remake vibe then resident evil 4 its more dark. Also this game is trying to push forward with giving the past a nice nod, the game will be amazing I have no doubts.
