A number of European gaming websites have posted their impressions of the 25-minutes Live-Demo, the same one IGN's been treated with, the most important details so far:

- The game was demoed on PC, but with the current gen assets.
- There is no Multiplayer of any kind, no co-op either, its purely singleplayer.
-The camera is positioned similary to RE4, with the character being on the left of the screen.
-Over The Shoulder Aiming System.
-You change your equipment of the fly in real-time using a "circular inventory".
-Minimal HUD.

This is the best news we've heard so far. This literally answered 90% of our questions and replaced them with faith.

I'm liking the sound of this! The circular inventory sounds like it should be great and I like that there's minimal HUD. Can't wait to see/hear more!

The image is a little too big, I suggest you full view it to see the rest.

From Rely on Horror:

Few additional details from PCGames.de:

(translated by Nibel)

- Highly reduced HUD; there are almost no interface elements
- Ring menu for weapons and inventory
- Quick item selection on the D-Pad
- Medipacks
- You’ll encounter a man with a chainsaw and dozens of angry enemies at the beginning, just like in RE4 – but it plays differently due the set of options like being able to set traps etc.
- One trap is a mine full of nails
- There isn’t much music which is why the game feels even more terrifying

There isn't much music eh? I sort of find this to be a good thing indeed. Not only does the lack of music make you feel more grounded and immersed, but it also cuts back on production costs, so they may be able to spend more money elsewhere or simply save money since it IS a new IP.

One of Resident Evil 6's biggest mistakes was too big of a team and too much of a budget. They spent way too much money making it, that the sales numbers (however great they are) didn't generate enough revenue for much profit. Hopefully TEW does extremely well and makes Tango and Bethesda a lot of moneys 8-)
